Micromax Unite 2 smartphone to get Android 5.0 Lollipop update

Unite 2 is the first ever phone which supports 21 Indian languages.

New Delhi: Homegrown smartphone maker Micromax, will roll out Android 5.0 Lollipop update for its Unite 2 smartphone.

Micromax will start rolling out over-the-air (OTA) from Tuesday wherein users will directly get a notification on their phone. However, users can also manually download the update by going to phone Setting –About phone –Software update.

Unite 2, the first ever phone which supports 21 Indian languages, was lauched last year bearing the price tag of Rs 6,999.

The phone comes with 4.7 inch IPS display, 5MP primary camera and 2 MP secondary camera. The camera also offers a number of features such as beauty mode, live photo mode and panorama.

Micromax Unite 2 is powered by 1.3 GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 4GB internal storage
(expandable upto 32GB).

The languages supported by the phones include: English, Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, kannada, Odia, Bengali, Assamese, Marathi, Nepali, Bodo, Dogri, Konkani, Kashmiri, Maithili, Manipuri, Sanskrit, Sindhi.
