Micromax launches Micromax Unite 2 at Rs 6,999

Homegrown smartphone maker Micromax, on Thursday launched the first ever phone which supports 21 Indian languages- Micromax Unite 2.

New Delhi: Homegrown smartphone maker Micromax, on Thursday launched the first ever phone which supports 21 Indian languages- Micromax Unite 2.

The phone will enter the market at an affordable price of Rs 6,999 and will be available in the all the leading stores from May 22, 2014.

The phone comes with 4.7 inch IPS display, 5MP primary camera and 2 MP secondary camera. The camera also offers a number of features such as beauty mode, live photo mode and panorama.

Micromax Unite 2 is powered by 1.3 GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 4GB internal storage
(expandable upto 32GB) and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS, the latest version of Android.

The phone comes with many pre-installed apps like as MAd, a very innovative aap which lets users watch ads, earn points & get money added to their phone balance, Getit, Kingsoft Office, Opera Mini Browser, Hike and many more.

The phone is given an entirely different look and is also made available in 4 different colors- grey, white, red and green.

The languages supported by the phones include: English, Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, kannada, Odia, Bengali, Assamese, Marathi, Nepali, Bodo, Dogri, Konkani, Kashmiri, Maithili, Manipuri, Sanskrit, Sindhi.
