LG starts taking pre-order for G4; priced online at Rs 49,999

New Delhi: South Korean conglomerate LG has started taking pre-order for its flagship smartphone G4.

The company has started teasing the product on its website stating that the first few customers might get chance to recieve the phone from bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan.

LG has also announced free gift worth Rs 12,000 for the customers who opt for pre-booking. This includes a G4 metallic finish back cover worth Rs 2,000, free one time screen replacement worth Rs 6,500 and free extra battery with charging grade worth Rs 3,500.

Though there is no official confirmation on the price details, however online retailer Infibeam has announced the phone at Rs 49,999 while a Mumbai-based mobile retailer Mahesh Telecom has said that that the G4 dual-sim will be available staring June 2 at Rs 51,500.

The LG G4 comes with a 5.5-inch Quad HD (2560x1440p) screen, a 16MP rear cam with an extra-bright f/1.8 aperture and second-generation OIS, and also an 8MP front camera. In addition to that there's also a manual mode for advanced photographers, RAW shooting and a color spectrum sensor.

The LG G4 runs on a 64-bit hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor clocked at 1.8GHz, with a 3000mAh removable battery. It has 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage, in addition to icroSD slot.
