Leaked! Images, tech specs of Xiaomi Redmi Note 2

New Delhi: Ahead of the August 13 launch, images and tech specs of Xiaomi's Redmi Note 2 have been leaked.

The image leaked by Chinese tipster @KJuma shows the Note 2 in a box in which the device will be shipped.

Redmi Note 2 is the successor of Redmi Note, the budget phablet. According to leaked details, phone runs Android 5.0.2 Lollipop and MiUI 6 and comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage.

The device is said to be priced at $177 approximately Rs 11,300 and a previous known to come to a price tag that reads $128 that is about Rs 8,100.

It is said to have a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera, at 8.05mm thin, the device weighs 159 grams.
