New Delhi: Apple Inc launched its most anticipated iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus smartphone in India at midnight on Friday. To ensure that it doesn't run out of stock, Apple had shipped 50,000-55,000 units of the smartphone for the midnight's launch.
While it didn’t witness the frenzy and crazy long queue in the midnight, there were plenty of pre-orders.
As per the data, the company had received order for 21,000 units until Tuesday.
Apple retailers and authorised dealers delivered phones to customers who had pre-ordered the smartphone by making partial payments.
The 16GB version of Apple iPhone 6 is available at Rs 53,500, while the 64GB version is priced at Rs 62,500. The 128GB version of the phone sells for Rs 71,500.

Both the phones are being sold by the company's distribution partners -- Ingram Micro, Redington, Rashi Peripherals and Reliance.
