Washington: In anticipation of the iPhone 6 launch, Walmart has slashed the price of iPhone 5S to 79 dollars, and iPhone 5C to a mere 97 cents.
The iPhone 5S was previously priced at 99 dollars and the 5C 29 dollars.
According to CNET, a Walmart spokesperson explained that starting Thursday, the retailer is dropping the price of the two Apple phones.
These new prices apply to all available colors of the smartphones and can only be used with a two-year contract on AT and T, Verizon, Sprint, or US Cellular.
This certainly shows the excitement and expectations from the new iPhone 6 which is said to come out in two sizes, one with 4.7 inch screen and another with 5.5 inch screen, report said.
