New Delhi: Hewlett-Packard (HP) has launched its Stream 8 Windows tablet in the Indian market at a price tag of Rs 16,990. The tablet was released in the US market in September 2014.
The tablet has an 8-inch HD IPS display with a 1280x800 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.8GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3735G processor alongside 1GB of DDR3 RAM. It comes with 32GB of internal storage expandable up to another 32GB via microSD card.
Measured at 209x124x8.9mm the tablet weighs at 388 grams. The device features a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera. It runs on Windows 8.1 OS and comes powered with a 4000 mAh battery.
The Windows tablet also has additional features such as Accelerometer, G-Sensor, GPS and SAR. Connectivity options on the device include- 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, and Micro-USB.
