Google Inc has rolled outs its latest operating system, Android 5.1 Lollipop with new features that includes HD voice call and safeguard for stolen phones.

An update of Lollipop, the new version was launched on Monday, the same day Apple came out with a series of products including the Apple Watch.

Reports say the Android 5.1 Lollipop comes with a series of new improvements such as fixing bugs and features that will be much appreciated by the users.

While the Lollipop update comes with a HD voice calling option, it also comes with a safeguard for stolen phones. It will also support multiple SIM cards, good for countries that use prepaid cards.

According to reports, Android 5.1 Lollipop will be initially available for Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 while the other Nexus phones should get the update soon.
