Google announces Android 5.0 Lollipop

Google has finally announced an upgraded and new version of its operating system Android called Lollipop.

Google has finally announced an upgraded and new version of its operating system Android called Lollipop and will be available in the first week of November.

'A sweet new take on Android' as Google calls its, Android L or Android 5.0 Lollipop will reportedly debut on three new Nexus devices namely the Nexus 6 smartphone, Nexus 9 tablet, and Nexus Player streaming media device.

These devices will be available as early at first week of November, as per reports.

The Android Lollipop is also likely to be available on the Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7, Nexus 10, and Google Play Edition devices in the coming weeks.

Google had showed off the Android L at its I/O 2014 developer conference.

The company had announced the Android 4.4 KitKat in September 2013.
