Cheapest Android phone by Jivi launched at Rs 1,999

Jivi on Thursday launched Jivi JSP 20 smartphone at a price tag of mere Rs 1,999. This makes Jivi smartphone the cheapest Android OS phone in India.

New Delhi: Jivi on Thursday launched Jivi JSP 20 smartphone at a price tag of mere Rs 1,999. This makes Jivi smartphone the cheapest Android OS phone in India. It is also the slimmest in the 3.5-inch display segment.

The dual SIM smartphone, which will sold exclusively through ecommerce firm Amazon.in, features 3.5-inch screen, 1 GHz processor and Android Gingerbread OS. It also sports 128MB RAM, 256MB memory which can be expanded up to 32GB through a micro SD card.

It runs WhatsApp, Facebook, YouTube and many more Android applications. Jivi JSP 20 supports six languages for messaging – English, French, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.

It also offers a 2 MP camera with LED flash and comes pre-loaded with LED torch flashlight widget and shortcuts on home screen for music player, WiFi, Bluetooth, data sync and brightness.

Its 1350 mAh Li-Ion battery that lasts up to 7.5 hours even with mixed media usage.
