Candy Crush now available on Windows Phone 8.1

New Delhi: Sweet news for fans of the addictive Candy Crush Saga game but could not play in on Windows Phone handsets.

The addictive game from King, the makers of Pet Rescue Saga & Farm Heroes Saga, is now officially available on handsets with Windows 8.1.

Microsoft Lumia, on its official Facebook India page update said, "Sweet news! Candy Crush Saga - now on WP 8.1"

Candy Crush Saga, though available on Windows Phone, was a paid for game until now. It will be available free from now on.

For long, the game was available free on Android phones and iPhones while the same was charged for in Windows Phone.

This sure comes as a sweet news for lovers of the game but could not play it on Windows Phones.
