New Delhi: Apple is likely to update its iPad line at an event on October 16 at its headquarters in California city of Cupertino, according to reports.
The tech giant had recently launched the larger screen iPhones during its September event at the same place.
According to reports, Apple has scheduled an event on October 16 where it is likely to unveil an updated version of its iPads.
Apple takes the October event to unveil new products especially iPads as it does with the September event to unveil new iPhones.
During the October event in 2013, Apple unveiled iPad Air and iPad Mini with Retina displays. Last month, during its September event, the company unveiled a series of products mainly iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus with bigger screens, iWatch or Apple Watch and Apple Pay or iWallet.
Hence, it is widely expected that Apple will unveil products in the line of iPads during its October 16 event.
The event is also expected to see the unveiling of a next-generation software for powering Macintosh computers.
If the report is on target, the iPad event will take place a day before Apple begins selling its latest iPhones in China.
Apple launched the large-screen iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus on September 19 and has rolled the smartphones out to an array of countries, but not China where it took some time to clear licensing hurdles.
