Android Lollipop update rolled out to Xolo One

Smartphone maker Xolo has made upgrade to the Xolo One operating system with Android Lollipop as was being promised during its launch in October last year.

New Delhi: Smartphone maker Xolo has made upgrade to the Xolo One operating system with Android Lollipop as was being promised during its launch in October last year.

The phone, affordably priced at Rs 6,599, thus becomes third after Google Nexus and Motorola Moto X to receive Lollipop update in the country.

The upgraded OS started rolling to users since last week hosting a bouquet of addition giving an all new look and feel to the product. Features like fluid animations, improved notifications, better messaging option, shortcut keys are the main highlights.

The Xolo One sports a faux leather back panel and is available in six different color options.

The dual-SIM phone has a 4.5-inch IPS display and offers a pixel density of 218ppi. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6582M) processor alongside Mali 400 MP2 GPU and 1GB of RAM.

The phone includes 8GB of inbuilt storage that is expandable upto 32 GB via microSD card. The phone has a battery capacity of 1700 mAh promising up to 19 Hours of talktime on 2G and up to 8 Hours of talktime on 3G.

It sports a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and BSI Sensor technology. It also has a 0.3MP front-facing camera.
