New Delhi: It has been a common practice by mobile companies to tease the promos of their phones being tested under extreme conditions. The idea is to prove certain qualities of the phone like its durability, water-proof and scratch-resistant and bendablity.
However, Chinese handset maker Xiaomi has taken this test to another level.
The phone maker has tested the much anticipated Xiaomi Mi4 with freshwater crab, Japanese blue crab and lobster.
In a facebook post, the phone maker said, “How do you think Mi4 held up against some of the toughest pincers around? We put it up against a freshwater crab, Japanese blue crab and wait for it..... a lobster!”.
In the video put by Xiaomi, the freshwater crab and Japanese blue crab smashed vegetables, glasses and eggs, however, their piercing claws could not make a scratch on the Mi4 when it was put to test.
The handset maker then put the Xiaomi Mi4 for lobster test though the results have not been shown. The viewers are put in for a surprise while Xiaomi ends the video questioning, “Do you think the Xiaomi Mi4 passed the lobster test? Take a guess!”.
