New Delhi: The year 2013 saw a range of smartphones crossing 50K, but 2014 has brought in many low range smartphones. Keeping in mind the growing needs and expectations of the user from a smartphone, handset makers have started to design smartphones with all the latest features yet not making a big hole in the consumers pocket.

Here are 5 smartphones below Rs 10,000 that have taken the market by storm.

Moto E

Stylishly curved and very light weight-142g, Moto E, priced at Rs 6,999 comes with Android 4.4 KitKat OS, 1.2 GHz Dual Core Processor, 5 MP Primary Camera, 4.3-inch screen and allows for Wi-Fi connectivity. The phone due to it curve design fits in the users hand and allows or easy working experience.

Nokia X+

The first Android phone from Nokia priced at Rs 7,729 features a 4 inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS, 1 GHz Dual Core Processor, 3.15 MP Primary Camera, and also allows for Wi-Fi connectivity. Micromax, which has captured a good share of the market launched its Doodle A111 early this month and is available to the users at Rs 8,788. The light weight- 168g model houses Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS, 1.2 GHz Quad Core Processor, 8 MP Primary Camera and 2 MP Secondary Camera, 5.3 inch capacitive touchscreen, also allows for Wi-Fi connectivity. The stylish looking Micromax doodle A111 also comes with a stylus.

LG L40

LG's L series L40, mid-range, sophisticated design smartphone is priced at Rs 7,500 features 3.5 inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS , 1.2 GHz Dual core processor , 3.15 MP Primary Camera and is Wi-Fi enabled. The device weigh only 113g and give the user a very good experience.
