New Delhi: Home grown handset maker Micromax recieved an overwhelming response to its recently launched 3G smartphone –the Canvas Spark.
The phone will now be available for next round of flash sale on Friday.
Micromax has tweeted saying, “Thank you for an overwhelming response, 20,000 units of #MicromaxCanvasSpark SOLD in less than 2 Minutes!”.
“The next registration for the #MicromaxCanvasSpark will begin on 1st May, 12 noon exclusively on @snapdeal. Get ready to make sparks fly!,” it stated.
Meanwhile Snapdeal has tweeted, “The #MicromaxCanvasSpark is all sold out!!! :D Thank you for the brilliant response!”
To recall the specs, the Canvas Spark comes with a 4.7-inch qHD screen (960×540 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and is powered by a 1.3-Ghz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor with 1GB of RAM. It operates on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.
Priced at Rs 4,999 the phone comes with an internal memory of 8GB of which 4.10GB is said to be available for user. It can also be expanded upto 32GB via a microSD card.
It comes with a 8MP back camera and a 2MP front-facing camera. It is is powered by a 2000 mAh battery.
