New Delhi: German luxury car maker Mercedes-Benz has launched AMG C 63 S here in the performance car segment priced at Rs 1.3 crore (ex-showroom Delhi).

C 63 S is the 10th model launched by Mercedes-Benz in India in the AMG class and is a car with intelligent assistance systems.
Here's looking at five interesting features of the vehicle.
Exterior
The design of the AMG C 63 S is inspired from motorsport.
• Aluminium bonnet is graced by distinctive power domes, giving a muscular look along with the wider wings
• The “twin blade” radiator grille with AMG lettering lowers the vehicle’s visual centre of gravity
• The rear end diffuser insert with three fins is a feature carried over from motorsport
• The two chrome-plated twin end pipes of the AMG sport exhaust system are perfectly integrated into the diffuser
• LED Intelligent Light System with integral daytime driving lamps
• AMG high-performance composite brake system with composite brake discs and red-painted brake callipers with "AMG" lettering
Interior
The AMG C 63 S has all the features that spells luxury.
• The dashboard is finished in ARTICO man-made leather
• Contrast top stitching is in crystal grey
• The AMG instrument cluster with AMG main menu includes RACE TIMER and fine aluminium trim
• AMG performance steering wheel in nappa leather / DINAMICA microfibre
• There is Sports seats with AMG specific seat upholstery layout and optimised lateral support for greater driving pleasure

The rated output for the AMG C 63 S is 375 kW (510 hp) at 5500-6250 rpm, while the torque is 700 Nm at 1750-4500 rpm. The C 63 S Saloon is also the most economical eight-cylinder car in the high-performance segment. The AMG RIDE CONTROL sports suspension with electronically controlled shock absorbers, the mechanical rear axle locking differential and the AMG DYNAMIC SELECT transmission modes raise the driving dynamics to a new level.
