New Delhi/Nasik: Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd has unveiled the New Thar CRDe with enhanced exteriors, and all new interiors.
The New Thar CRDe has been priced at Rs 8.03 lakh (ex-showroom Nasik).
Here are five interesting features of the vehicle.
Comfort and convenience
The new Mahindra CRDe has air conditioner with heater, windshield demister, wider front seats, floor console with cup holders, door trim pad with hand rest, 12v power outlet, lockable glove box, independent front suspension and side facing foldable rear seats. You can also get added information and convenience with the 3-pod instrument cluster with tell-tale lamps. The vehicle's standard power steering with car-like turning radius of 5.75m helps in smooth manoeuvring.
Power and performance
The New Thar CRDe has been equipped with 2.5L engine. It has mechanical locking rear differential, auto-locking hubs and digital immobilizer.
Interior
The premium black and beige dashboard is sleeker and provides better legroom. The new CRDe has provision for 2-Din Music system and multi-directional A/C vents.
Exterior
The butch wheel arches, and tougher front and rear bumpers make the New Thar CRDe look effortlessly rugged. It has clear lens headlamps and side footsteps for easy entry and exit. The canopy enhances the butch stance of vehicle. It can be removed to experience driving under the open sky.
Off road capability
The New Thar is armed with the BorgWarner 4WD system with 2.48 crawl ratio. It has high approach at 44° and departure angle at 27° enables the New Thar CRDe to conquer obstacles. It has high ground clearance of 200mm.
