DC Design, one of India’s most famous automobile customization company’s has completely redesigned the interiors of the spacious Isuzu MU-7 SUV to better suit the needs of a more discerning clientele. The highly customizable packages involves major modifications of the dashboard, centre console and seats to give occupants a far more luxurious and sophisticated cabin experience in contrast to the stock interiors found on the MU-7.

Founder of DC Design, Mr. Dilip Chhabria, launched the company back in 1993 to provide automotive customers a unique opportunity to redesign and modify their existing mass market vehicles to set them apart. As a result, the company has been responsible for the creation of some snazzy designs in the past such as the Ambierod and more recently the Avanti sports car. The powerful Isuzu MU-7 SUV, which was recently launched with an automatic gearbox option in addition to the pre-existing manual variant, joins a long list of vehicles whose interiors have been given such an exclusive treatment.

Speaking at the introduction of the DC Design variant of the MU-7, Mr. Dilip Chhabria said, “The new design dimension added by DC Design for the MU-7 is exciting and we are sure that MU-7 enthusiasts will now have the choice to experience a new sense of exclusivity. Our customers are already all-praise for the various design concepts we have introduced in a multitude of vehicles. The new interior option adds a new dimension of creature comfort to the already bold and powerfully styled MU-7. An important reason to choose the MU-7 for customisation is its spacious interior cabin.”

Interested customers will first have to purchase the MU-7 from a dealership before approaching DC Design in order to get their vehicle’s interiors customized. Some of the options include a tan and white dual tone interior colour plan, add-on teak wood insert trims, restyled central console and dashboard, touch-panel operated air conditioning controls, two iPad Mini’s housed in the seat backs of both front seats and leather upholstery. The company has stated that the modifications can be made at DC Design facilities in Mumbai, New Delhi and Pune for an approximate sum of Rs 3.45 lakh.
