Maruti Suzuki to recall 69,555 units of Dzire, Swift and Ritz

Maruti Suzuki on Tuesday said it was recalling 69,555 units of its top-selling models Dzire, Swift and Ritz due to some fault in the wiring harness fitment.

New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki on Tuesday said it was recalling 69,555 units of its top-selling models Dzire, Swift and Ritz due to some fault in the wiring harness fitment.

According to reports, India's largest car manufacturer said it was recalling the diesel variants of these popular models that were made between March 2010 and August 2013.

The company said it will recall 55,938 units of Dzire compact sedan, 12,486 units of Swift and 1,131 units of the Ritz hatchback.

It also assured that no other models outside the mentioned list will be affected.

“This exercise does not pertain to any other model of the Company or its exports,” the company said in a statement.
