New Delhi: Honda on Wednesday launched its much-anticipated 7 seater low priced MPV Mobilio. The Honda Mobilio petrol version starts at Rs 6.49 Lakh while the diesel version of the MPV will come at Rs 7.89 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

The MPV was unveiled at the Auto Expo held in Greater Noida in February this year.
Mobilio has been developed by Honda exclusively for the Asian markets after comprehensive research and customer feedback. The Mobilio can seat seven occupants in three-row configuration, thanks to its sporty styling and a spacious cabin.
The vehicle's striking design, generous space and powerful engine options have already sparked a lot of enthusiasm among auto lovers.
Honda has already started taking pre-bookings of the car for a token amount of Rs 50,000.
Mobilio measures 4,386mm in length, 1,683 mm in width and 1,603 mm in height with a wheelbase of 2,652 mm with 189-mm ground clearance.
The Mobilio will be available in two fuel efficient engine options-- 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol and 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel.
Adding to the city driver's joy, the vehicle claims a mileage of 24.2Km/l in the diesel engine while the petrol engine will deliver a mileage of 17.3 kmpl.
The 1.5L i-DTEC diesel engine of the Mobilio is based on Honda’s latest Earth Dreams Technology. It delivers a maximum power of 100 ps@3600 rpm, maximum torque of 200 Nm@1750 rpm.
It has been mated to the standard 5-speed manual transmission. The 1.5 L i-VTEC petrol engine delivers a maximum power of 119 ps@6600 rpm, maximum torque of 145 Nm@4600 rpm and best in class fuel economy of 17.3 kmpl. The Petrol Mobilio is equipped with standard 5-speed manual transmission.
The Mobilio is available in 3 grades offered in Petrol and Diesel variants – E, S and V with Manual Transmission. The sportier Mobilio RS grade will be available in Diesel.
Honda Mobilio will be available in seven exciting range of exterior colors – Brilliant Gold Metallic (New and exclusive), Carnelian Red Pearl, Majestic Blue Metallic, Urban Titanium Metallic, Alabaster Silver Metallic, Taffeta White and Crystal Black Pearl (exclusive to RS).
