Harley-Davidson launches 3 new models in India starting at Rs 16.28 lakh

American bike maker Harley-Davidson has launched three new bikes in the country--Harley-Davidson Breakout, Harley-Davidson Street Glide Special and Harley-Davidson CVO Limited.

Mumbai: American bike maker Harley-Davidson has launched three new bikes in the country--Harley-Davidson Breakout, Harley-Davidson Street Glide Special and Harley-Davidson CVO Limited.

The Breakout, which is priced at Rs 16.28 lakh, has 21-inch front wheels, 240mm rear tyre coupled with a Twin Cam 103 motor with a displacement of 1688cc.

In the latest bike range, the Street Glide Special has been priced at Rs 29.70 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Street Glide Special is equipped with a high output twin cam 103 powertrain, boom box 6.5 GT infotainment system, batwing fairing and splitstream vent and dual halogen headlamps.

The company also launched CVO (Custom Vehicle Operations), which is priced at Rs.49.24 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

According to the company, these are limited edition hand-crafted originals.

Of the three new models, 'Breakout' would be assembled at the company's Bawal manufacturing facility in Haryana, while two of its other models namely the 'Street Glide Special' and the CVO, would be imported as completely built units.
