New Delhi: The country's largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki will start the bookings for its sedan - Maruti Ciaz from today.
The car is to be launched ahead of the upcoming festival season and can be booked for a token advance amount of Rs 21,000.
Ciaz will be available in petrol and diesel fuel options powered by a 1.4 litre and 1.3 litre engines respectively.
Maruti Suzuki has not revealed the pricing of the car but it is expected that the car could be priced in the range of Rs 9-12 lakh and it will be competing with Honda City and Hyundai Verna.
The car was first unveiled during the Auto Expo 2014 held in Delhi earlier this year.
The sedan is expected to come with features such as steering-mounted audio controls, reverse parking sensors, ABS, height adjustable driver's seat, rear AC vents, driver arm rest and electrically-adjustable mirrors
