Bajaj Auto sales up 1% in April

New Delhi: On 3rd May, Bajaj Auto Ltd reported one percent increase in total sales in April at 3,36,274 units as against 3,31,529 units in the same month last year.

Motorcycle sales during the month declined by 5 percent at 2,85,791 units as against 2,99,636 units in
April last year, the company said in a statement.

Commercial vehicles sales during the month were at 50,483 units as compared to 31,893 units in the year-ago month, a growth of 58 percent it added.

Exports in April this year stood at 1,61,598 units as against 1,50,714 units in the same month last year, up 7 percent, the company said.
