Audi TT Coupe to hit Indian roads on April 23

New Delhi: Keeping up with the agenda of kicking off its 10 new product introductions planned for this year, German luxury car maker Audi is all geared to roll out the first from its stable.

The company will launch the new Audi TT Coupe model in India on April 23.

Audi describes the TT Coupe as driver focused, innovative and progressive.

As per the reports surfaced in media, the Audi TT Coupe will come a 2.0-litre petrol engine mated to a 6-speed dual clutch automatic transmission. The vehicle will have four-cylinder, turbocharged unit developing 230PS of power and 370Nm of peak torque.

The car can reach the speed from 0-100 kilometre per hour in 5.3 seconds. It can gain top speed of 253km/h.

Earlier this month, the car make said that it plans to launch five models in the next five months in India as it looks to retain leadership position in the Indian luxury car segment.

The company, which sells various popular brands including A3 sedan and Q5 sports utility vehicle, posted a growth of 15 percent in the January-March quarter at 3,139 units as against 2,740 units in the year-ago period.

In 2014 Audi had sold 10,851 units in 2014 and remained the largest luxury car maker for the second consecutive year.
