Chennai: Japanese carmaker Nissan on Friday announced the appointment of Satinder Singh Bajwa as Vice-President Sales, Network and Customer Relations for its India operations.
Singh, who would take up the new role on April 13, would be responsible for accelerating sales, customer satisfaction for both of its brands - Nissan and Datsun.
Prior to taking up this responsibility, Singh was with Hyundai Motor India as Group Head-Sales.
"As we continue to make quick and firm progress in taking Nissan Group of India to its next level, it is imperative that we grow and nurture a robust sales and service backbone to ensure customer satisfaction," Nissan Motor Managing Director, Arun Malhotra said.
Singh would report to Malhotra in his new assignment.
"We have found a strong professional in Singh who brings with him vast experience that can help meet our business goals," Malhotra said.
