As the 12th edition of the Auto Expo 2014 gets closer by the day, leading auto makers of the world are expected to compete against each other and showcase their various new products.

As the 12th edition of the Auto Expo 2014 gets closer by the day, leading auto makers of the world are expected to compete against each other and showcase their various new products.

According to reports, over 60 new models are expected to be launched while about 15 global unveilings are also expected at the Februay 6-12, 2014 event. Moreover, with about 50 vehicle manufacturers expected to be present at the show, higher than those of 2012, the Auto Expo 2014 is expected to be the best so far.

Let's take a look at some of the major launches and unveilings that are expected at the 12th Auto Expo.

Mercedes Benz: The German luxury carmaker is expected to showcase a range of products, including the CLA45 AMG sedan. It will also launch the Concept GLA.

Honda: The Japanese automaker plans to showcase a range of products and unveil the new crossover - Honda Vision XS-1 during the expo. The company will also launch the Honda Mobilio.

Audi: The German luxury carmaker has lined up a series of products for the expo and will debut its A3 sedan in India. Special editions of SUVs - Audi Q3, Audi Q5 and Audi Q7 are also expected.

Toyota: The Japanese and world's No. 1 automaker is also expected to launch/unveil a series of products which includes the Etios Crossover. The 2014 Toyota Corolla, which was unveiled in June 2013, is also expected to be launched at the Auto Expo 2014.

Hero MotoCorp: India's leading two-wheeler manufacturer is expected to showcase over a dozen products that includes concepts and hybrids.

Maruti: India's No. 1 automaker is likely to launch the Maruti Celerio, the company's replacement for A-Star. It is expected to unveil the iV4, or 'Individuality Vehicle 4x4' too.

Tata Motors: The company will launch the all new SUV concept 'Jump' at the Auto Expo 2014.

Chevrolet: Chevrolet could probably launch the facelift version of Beat with with revised headlamps, bumper, wheel and colour.

Ford: The leading car manufacturer of the United States is expected to unveil the Ford Ka concept which is believed to be the successor of Ford Figo in India.

Nissan: The Japanese automaker is also reportedly launching the Nissan Sunny facelift model during the Auto Expo 2014.
