Mumbai: Ranbir Kapoor hails from a family that had produced legends in the field of filmmaking. His great-grandfather Prithviraj Kapoor was the patriarch and his sons – Ranbir (Raj Kapoor), Shamsher Raj (Shammi Kapoor) and Balbir Raj (Shashi Kapoor) took his legacy forward. And it was natural for Ranbir Kapoor (Raj Kapoor’s grandson) to step into the world of celluloid.

The actor, who began his acting career with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Saawariya in 2007, started visiting sets of films at a very young age. He had even worked as a clapper boy for his father Rishi Kapoor’s film Prem Granth.

In the pic we can see young Ranbir holding the clapper board for father Rishi’s film Prem Granth which featured Madhuri Dixit in the lead role.

Wearing a cap and an oversized T-shirt, Ranbir looks too cute as he seems extremely engrossed in his work.

Interestingly, Ranbir is a self-confessed fan of Madhuri, who has worked with his father in many films. In fact, he was elated when he got an opportunity to shake a leg with the dhak dhak girl in a special song from his film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani in 2013.

The actor, who had also worked as an assistant to filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali in Black in 2005, is presently busy working on Ayan Mukerji’s trilogy titled Brahmastra also starring Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy.

Ranbir hasn’t had a great time at the Box Office since 2013. His films – Besharam, Roy, Bombay Velvet, Tamasha and Jagga Jasoos proved to be duds at the Box Office. Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in 2016, co-starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Sharma was the only exception.

Here’s wishing Ranbir all the best for Brahmastra.
