As per a source, the yet untitled film will be along the lines of the Dilip Kumar-Raj Kumar's 1991 released 'Saudagar' and will see them share equal footage.

New Delhi: Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan forayed into Bollywood a couple of decades ago and since then, they have been ruling the industry like a rockstar. Over the years, we have seen them appearing in each other films but this time around - filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali has approached them for his family-drama project. 

A source told a leading entertainment portal Bhansali apparently approached both the stars and that the duo has read the script. And if things go as planned, we will soon see them sharing the big screen. Adding further, the source revealed that the film will be along the lines of the Dilip Kumar-Raj Kumar's 1991 released 'Saudagar' and will see them share equal footage.

Though both of them have reportedly given their nod to it, the source said that Bhansali may take as much as nine months to prepare the final draft and the project will be rolled only in the mid-next year. 

Salman and Shah Rukh first appeared in 'Karan Arjun' that became a blockbuster. Later, they did films like 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' and 'Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam'. They made a special appearance in each other's films like 'Om Shanti Om' and 'Tubelight'. 

An official confirmation is awaited on the same. 

In the meantime, Shah Rukh is gearing up for 'Zero'. The film's trailer was unveiled by the makers only recently and upon its release, it boosted the anticipation of the netizens! Interestingly, 'Zero' also has a special appearance from Salman and it was revealed by filmmaker Aanand L Rao on Eid this year.

Salman, on the other hand, is busy shooting for Ali Abbas Zafar's 'Bharat'.
