Recently, Arjun and Parineeti along with director Vipul visited Golden Temple in Amritsar to seek blessings for the film before commencing their Amritsar schedule.
The filmmaker had earlier told PTI that this is the perfect time to shoot in Punjab as the weather there is neither too cold nor too hot and the crops will make for stunning visuals.
The film is expected to be released in December this year.
Both Parineeti and Arjun are good friends in real life. During an exclusive chat with news agency IANS, Parineet quoted, "I am very excited and looking forward to both the films as he is one of my closest friends in the film industry. I am happy he is my co-star."
'Namastey England' is the sequel to Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif's 2007 hit film 'Namastey London'. It is to be noted that Parineeti has been paired opposite Akshay for the first time in 'Kesari'. The film will be directed by Anurag Singh and will be produced by Akshay and Karan Johar.
