New Delhi: Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande—the Pavitra Rishta pair had a perfect fairytale romance until the unexpected happened. Their break-up news shocked the fans and industry friends alike.
But now, it's been almost two years and the two have moved on in their respective lives. Sushant's name has been linked to Kriti Sanon a couple of times but the duo never really talked about relationship status in public.
Ankita on the other hand is busy working on her debut Bollywood film Manikarnika featuring Kangana Ranaut in the lead. Ankita will be seen playing Jhalkaribai on the big screens.
In an interview with Mumbai Mirror Ankita was asked about her role and she said, “People only know Jhalkaribai as a warrior and a replica of Rani Lakshmibai, and that made the role doubly challenging. When I discussed my scenes with Danny sir (Danny Denzongpa), he advised me to do it my way and today I believe she must have been someone like me.”
The actress was then asked whether she is touch with her former boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput to which she said, “I’ve always been open about my last relationship but even when I was in one, I didn’t talk about my personal life, and I don’t need to talk about it now. If it’s my career, I can talk to you for hours, but not about this.”
