New Delhi: Bollywood's ultimate Khiladi, Akshay Kumar is a super busy man. He has his kitty full of films for this and next year. The stud of an actor recently shared with his fans that he has embarked on starting off shooting journey of his next film 'Padman'.
Akki even shared a picture with wifey Twinkle Khanna in the frame on Twitter. Now, a few days after that announcement, several pictures from the sets of 'Padman' have gone viral. Many fan clubs of the superstar have shared the on-location shoot clips where Akki and Radhika Apte can be seen donning a common man's avatar.

It is based on the real-life incident of Arunachalam Muruganantham—the man whose initiative to invent low-cost sanitary pad making machines in rural India helped not only his wife but other women in his village to lead a hygienic life.
‘Padman’ will be produced by Akki's better half Twinkle Khanna, making it her maiden production venture and will be helmed by R Balki. Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte will play important roles in the film.
Interestingly, Twinkle had mentioned about the story of 'Padman' aka Arunachalam in the final short story titled ‘The Sanitary Man from A Scared Land’ in her second novel ‘The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad’.
