New Delhi: The Yash Raj Films' yet another big blockbuster project in the making, 'Thugs of Hindostan' starring megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan is scheduled for hitting the screens next year.
Although there's still a year to go, the buzz around this YRF venture is catching up fast. Earlier, there were rumours about the female lead being Vaani Kapoor then it came Shraddha Kapoor's name. However, the female lead is yet to cast, reportedly.
According to Mid-Day.com, there is a strong word that 'Dangal' actress Fatima Sana Shaikh, who played older Geeta Phogat on reel might be roped in for 'Thugs of Hindostan'. The film will be helmed by 'Dhoom 3' director Vijay Krishna Acharya.
No official statement regarding the female lead has been made by the production house or by the makers as yet.
