Mumbai: Khesari Lal Yadav and Kajal Raghwani's blockbuster film Mehandi Laga Ke Rakhna which released last year had raked in the moolah at the Box Office. And now the film has garnered terrific response on YouTube too. Published on the video sharing site by Worldwide Records Bhojpuri, the film has garnered over 40 million views since June 29, 2017.
Also starring Ritu Singh, Avdhesh Mishra, Param Hans Singh, Sanjay Pandey, Anand Mohan, Karan Pandey and Sanjay Mahanand, Mehandi Laga Ke Rakhna is produced by Ananjay Raghuraj and co-produced by Dhiraj Singh and Sanjay Jaiswal under Ananya Craft and Visions banner.
Rajnish Mishra has directed and composed music for the film. The songs were penned by Pyare Lal Yadav and Shyam Dehati and sung by Khesari Lal Yadav, Kalpana, Indu Sonali, Priyanka Singh, Khushboo Jain and Aalok.
Bhojpuri cinema has fans not just in Bihar and Jharkhand but across the country too.
On a related note, Jubilee star Dinesh Lal Yadav and YouTube Queen Aamrapali Dubey starrer 2015 film Nirahua Rickshawala 2 created history recently. The blockbuster film has garnered over 50 million views on YouTube, a feat no other Bhojpuri film has attained so far.
Interestingly, another film starring Nirahua and Aamrapali - Nirahua Hindustani - has garnered over (46 million) views.
