Mumbai: Bhojpuri superstar Dinesh Lal Yadav, popular as Nirahua is busy shooting for his upcoming film in gorgeous locations in Nepal. The Jubilee star, whose recent release Border has struck an emotional chord with moviegoers, spoke about the film's succes and his upcoming venture Sher-E-Hindustan in an exclusive interview with Zee News Digital.

Here are a few excerpts from the interview:

Describe your film Sher-E-Hindustan

Like Border, Sher-E-Hindustan is a film laced with patriotism and interwoven with a love story. The film will revolve around a man who destroys all attempts of terrorists who plan to attack India. It will also narrate the tale of an Indian man falling in love with a girl from Nepal.

Who is the lead actress of Sher-E-Hindustan?

Nepali actress Neeta Dhungana will share screen space with me.

Who is directing the film?

One of Bhojpuri cinema's finest filmmakers - Manoj Narayan is directing the film.

Do you see Border as a revolutionary project produced in the Bhojpuri film industry?

Border is an attempt to make a clean film with situational songs. The film has succeeded in eliminating unwanted or misplaced songs in the narrative. The film has also helped not just Bhojpuri speaking people but viewers across all other languages to get connected. Moviegoers from Maharashtra, Gujarat, Bengal, the Hindi belt and Hyderabad too have watched the film had heaped praises on it. A new chapter in the history of Bhojpuri cinema has begun.

How would you take the success of Border?

According to me, Bhojpuri is a widely spoken regional language and hence Bhojpuri films too deserve the top spot. Border has succeeded in winning people's faith and the future looks bright. I am confident that even Bhojpuri films will have films that will mint over 100 crores.

Were you anxious about the fate of Border?

I have never feared consequences. Had I had any doubts about the film, I wouldn't have been able to make a film with a budget of Rs 3 crores at a time when recovering Rs 1 crore proved a very difficult task. In my 13-year-long career, I have realised that a good film will definitely win over the audience support.

Would you like to give a message to those who watched Border?

I would like to thank all of those who watched Border from the bottom of my heart. I would also like to tell that Bhojpuri language, cinema and society deserves respect and appreciation. All of us have to unite and give Bhojpuri culture its due respect. He also urged Bihari achievers across various fields to think about their mother tongue and work towards it.
