New Delhi: An Indian Air Force Mirage 2000 trainer fighter aircraft crashed on Friday at Yemlur Airport in Bengaluru, killing one pilot. The crash, which took place during a test sortie, happened at 10.30 am.
Both the pilots managed to eject but one of them died on the spot as he had landed on the wreckage of the aircraft.

The other pilot, who had also ejected, has succumbed to injuries in the hospital.
Both of them were test pilots - Squadron leader Negi and Squadron leader Abrol.
