Modi flays Govt for writing `love letters` to Pak

Lambasting the UPA Government for its “total failure” to handle the Mumbai terror attack issue with Pakistan, Gujarat CM Narendra Modi alleged that the Centre did nothing except writing “love letters” to Pakistan on the matter.

Raipur, April 05: Lambasting the UPA Government for its “total failure” to handle the Mumbai terror attack issue with Pakistan, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday alleged that the Centre did nothing except writing “love letters” to Pakistan on the matter.
"The UPA Government should have taken a very aggressive stand against Pakistan for the Mumbai attacks. But the situation now is appeared to be just reverse because of Centre`s soft approach and failure to build up international pressure on that country,`` Modi alleged.

Talking to reporters this morning during his brief stopover at Raipur airport on way to his election campaign in Orissa, Modi called Manmohan Singh a ‘weak’ Prime Minister.

He continued saying that the Government which was involved in vote bank politics could never fight against terrorism.

In the Lok Sabha elections, the Chief Minister said, the people of the country needed to take a decision whether they would go for vote bank politics or politics of development.
