Guwahati: A low intensity earthquake of 3.1 magnitude on the Richter scale hit the North Cachar Hills of Assam.
The tremors were felt at around 1:55 am, said India Meteorological Department (IMB).No damage or casualty has been reported yet.Further details are awaited.
