New Delhi: Nepal Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has arrived here on Wednesday, beginning his 5-day visit to India.
He has been received by External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.
This is going to be Deuba's first foreign trip after assuming office amid the Indo-China standoff at the tri-junction Doklam near Sikkim border.
The Nepal PM will pay homage to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat on Thursday as per schedule. He will also pay a visit to President Ram Nath Kovind later on the day.
Along with his counterpart Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Deuba will hold delegation-level talks at Hyderabad House followed by the signing of some agreements.
Deuba's visit will also include states like Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Bihar.
