New Delhi: You must be flooded with a new feedback app – Sarahah on your Facebook feed lately. The latest online craze has flooded almost everyone's timeline.
Sarahah claims that it can help you in discovering your strengths and areas for improvement by receiving honest feedback from your employees and your friends in a private manner.
On Google Play the app has got 5,000,000 - 10,000,000 installs while it has even topped the list of free apps on Apple’s app store recently. The App's current version is 1.0.08.
What is the Sarahah app all about?
- Sarahah allows users to comment on their Friend/Colleague's box by retaining their anonymity
- Sarahah says that it won't disclose the identity of the logged-in senders to users except with their consent
- However you can't respond to messages now as the app maker is studying this option
- Sarahah literally means honesty in Arabic
How does Sarahah app work?
- You need to download this app and set up your profile with a custom url (For e.g, XYZ.sarahah.com )
- After registering, you will get four options:
Messages (consists details of your sent, received and favourited messages)
Search
Explore (work in progress)
Profile
- Once you log in, you can search other friends or users you want send messages to.
- Upon selecting, a message box appears, prompting the user to ‘leave a constructive message’.
- Those who want to comment can press the send button. Currently it allows only texts as messages and no graphics.
