New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday rejected suggestions that artists participating in a concert organized by his party in national capital New Delhi had been paid money to perform, and to attract more votes in the run-up to next month`s assembly polls.
Interacting with media here, Kejriwal said: "No artist came here for money. This is a party of the youth."
He also claimed that the sting operation carried out on the AAP by the web site media sarkar.com has backfired.
He claimed that a letter received from veteran civil rights activist and anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare exonerating him of any wrong doing, has once again pulled the crowds towards the AAP.
"After the sting operation, there is an even more greater crowd. I have never seen such crowd that I am seeing today. I am asking those people to conduct more sting operations," said an enthusiastic Kejriwal.
"There is a CD released and you people (media) have played it without checking it properly. I will give four CDs against Sonia (Gandhi) and Sushma Swaraj, but you will not play those. But you will play the CD against the Aam Aadmi Party only," he said.
