New Delhi: To ensure a high turnout of voters in the December 4 Delhi polls, the District Election office is holding a door-to-door campaign in Central Delhi to motivate its 10 lakh registered voters to cast their votes.
The booth-level officers are visiting each home and asking people to take a pledge to vote.

Besides that, the DEOs office will be also sending pamphlets through newspaper vendors at every home from December 2 to 4.

"The aim is to motivate the people so that they get out of their homes on December 4 and go to the polling booths to cast their vote. The last minute extra efforts as per the directions of the Chief Electoral office are on," DEO of Central Delhi, Ashima Jain said.
